I’m not much of a sports ball fan, and this sportsball in particular is perhaps the least sportsbally of them all, but it’s great to see Tiger win the Masters again after all these years.
Watching him absolutely dominate the game in his youth was just amazing, and drew in a lot of non -fans like me . His fall from grace and return to success continue to make for some interesting stories.

As a deeply flawed man, I’m learning to not be so judgmental of other flawed men. Congratulations, Eldrick, and carry on.

I grew up playing golf with my father and his friends, but it was Tiger’s dominance at the ‘97 Masters, and afterwards,
that made me take it more seriously. Today was a fantastic day for me as a fan of the sport in general, and of his specifically.

Today was the day millennial golf dads accepted nostalgia and became boomer golf dads.

Nah. Canadian sportsball is least sportsball. They don't even use a ball! But instead this weird, hard rubber, disc thing!

I was gladdened to see him overcome his obstacles physical and personal. After all if we don’t believe in redemption I guess we’re all going to hell.

Golf is the stupidest goddamn sport on earth. It’s the only sport where people act shocked when the superstars screw whoever they want. I couldn’t care less about Tiger screwing IHOP waitresses, what’s unforgivable is his love of Nickelback.

Not to be “that guy” not upset, just curious. I saw this post when I took a break from working outside and so I went in and turned on the TV and TW was on the 12th hole. Is it tape delayed, or tape delayed in midwest and west coast?
Also, felt the same way, was exciting, great comeback story when a few years ago all sorts of experts had written him off.

Afraid I wasn’t near a TV when he won, never occurred to me I might be spoiling the surprise for anyone. I was just taking a brief break from taxes (ugh) and noticed the news.

Congratulations. I had a good feeling the Jackets were going to win but didn’t want to jinx it for you.

I was amazed the Hawks even had a shot at making it in to be honest. I was excited at the prospect of going to a postseason game again.

i have hope for next year. take all the good that came out of this year and build on it with defensive prospects, a good amount of cap space, and everyone getting aboard the Colliton train. oh and somehow, the 3rd overall pick in the draft lol

Right, if they pick smart, and keep building on it they could be back to being a strong postseason team in a couple years, I think. It’s just Bowman. I always wonder what kind of shit he’s going to pull and what the effects will be.
